Tram improvement works and disruptions

Throughout 2025, planned improvement work will take place across the tram network.

We’re investing almost £150m through to 2027 on maintenance, upgrades and improvements. This includes crucial work to fix and replace older tram tracks in the city centre.

Here you’ll find everything you need to help plan your journey when we have to close tram stops and change tram services.

We’ll make sure you can get from A to B as smoothly as possible: by changing trams, using replacement bus services, or following a signposted walking route.
