Our core data protection obligations and commitments are set out in the organisation’s primary privacy notice.
This notice provides additional privacy information for: individuals who are interested in the transport of freight, carbon reduction and air quality.

- The processing is necessary in order to meet one of our obligations under Part II of the Transport Act 1968 or s99 of the Local Transport Act 2008;
- The processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest; and
- Marketing purposes: where we have asked and you have consented to receive electronic marketing information about our services (you may withdraw your consent at any time)
If you fail to provide certain information when requested, we may be prevented from complying with our legal obligations (for example, co-operating with the Station/Rail User Groups to promote and improve the social, economic or environmental well-being of Greater Manchester).
