Carriage of animals

Metrolink

Pet dogs and assistance dogs are permitted to travel on Metrolink. Owners of dogs need to comply with Metrolink’s conditions of carriage.

Bus

Dogs can travel for free on Bee Network bus services.

Passengers must keep any animal under control at all times (with dogs to be kept on a lead) and not allow them onto the seats, and are responsible for cleaning up any mess made by the animal on board the vehicle. Read our bus conditions of carriage.

For non-Bee Network services, please see individual bus companies for information on their carriage of animal policies.

For more information on the carriage of animals on Local Link services, please visit the Local Link webpage.

Train

Visit National Rail to check each train company's policy for carriage of animals.
